We are in alcoholics anonymous not around it.
We’re not your typical AA group – we’re wanderers on the road of recovery, literally! The Broad Highway Wanderers is a dynamic fellowship that travels throughout NIA 20 District 10, 11 & 12, bringing members together through shared journeys and shared recovery.
Three times a month, we select our destinations democratically, with members suggesting meetings across the area and voting on where we’ll travel next. We coordinate carpools that create valuable opportunities for fellowship and recovery discussions during our journeys to and from meetings.
Service is at the heart of our group’s mission. We maintain a strong presence at NIA 20 District 10 GSR meetings and actively participate in quarterly gatherings, ensuring our members stay connected to AA’s broader service structure.
Whether you’re new to recovery or a seasoned member, our traveling fellowship offers a unique way to:
- Experience diverse recovery perspectives across NIA 20 District 10, 11 & 12
- Build meaningful connections through shared journey time
- Participate in service work that strengthens our AA community
Join us as we travel the broad highway of recovery together, one meeting, one mile, and one day at a time.
